Wizards Harvest Catering was formed in 2017 by head chef and culinary mastermind Zack Tickler, with hospitality and kitchen kingpin Alex Serkey. Today we provide tour catering for blues legend Joe Bonamassa year round. Over the years we have cooked for some of the most successful musicians of our time. Coming from a large Sicilian family, Zack was introduced to the camaraderie of the kitchen early on. The kitchen was a place full of wonderful sights, sounds and smells, as well as a place to gather and share joy. That sense of community through food is still a driving factor in his cooking. Making someone smile through the simplicity of a delicious meal is one of the many reasons Zack has been an inspired chef for almost 20 years.
Born in Atlanta, Alex started working in backstage catering and hospitality at age 15. After spending about 10 years working for various catering companies and backstage production teams in the southeast, he started out on the road in 2011. Over the next six years he would tour with a wide array of bands and solo artists as their catering manager and crew chief. Then in 2017, he and Zack started Wizards Harvest Catering with world touring blues icon Joe Bonamassa as their sole client. Alex has been working in the food service industry in some capacity now for 20 consecutive years. His experiences working in all positions of food service from the kitchen to the front of house, has provided him with a diverse skill set, and ability to showcase his unique talents in any and all aspects of hospitality.
